Check out Hundreds of our ListingsSimply click on the "Search" button, or to become MLS power-user read up the "Quickstart Guide" at the bottom of this page. MLS Listings displayed do not represent all active listings available in Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). To receive:
Richmond Hill Real Estate MLS Listings Search – Quickstart GuideBy default you are presented with the search criteria tab on the left of the screen, and a Virtual Earth map on the right hand side. The tools at the top left of the map area can be used for navigation. Clicking on the arrows for lateral and up and down positioning of the map, and the plus and minus icons can be used to zoom in and out. Alternatively, the map can be positioned using drag and drop, and zooming in and out can be achieved using the mouse wheel. The views available are Road, Aerial and Bird’s Eye (with rotation capability), and a toggle for labels is also available. You can search for entities such as schools in the areas that they are interested in by using the "Points of Interest" text entry box, located at the top of the frame. At the top of the Search tab, an address can be entered as criteria, in order to zero in on a particular property or area. Below that, option buttons appear to choose between Freeholds and Condos. Once criteria have been selected for each of the desired fields, the "Search" button at the bottom of the tab is used to invoke the search. Above the map, the word "Searching…" will appear. If the search returns too many properties for the "Richmond Hill Real Estate MLS Listings Search" tool to map, then advice about narrowing criteria or zooming in will be presented. If a suitable number of properties matching the criteria are located, however, then the following will happen; the "Search" tab will automatically change to the "Results" tab, and the label at the top of the "Results" tab will indicate the number of properties returned by the query. The label above the map will also indicate how many property matches were found. The map will be populated with icons for all of the found properties, and in the "Results" tab, basic listing information will be presented for three of the returned properties. As the mouse arrow is passed over the listings in the "Results" tab, or over any of the map icons, a pop-up window will open beside the listing’s map icon to present the same basic information. From the "Results" tab, or from the pop-up window, the listing detail reports will be accessible by clicking on the "More Info…" link. The reports will be presented in the "Details" tab. It’s important to note that certain listings will not be mapped if the flag for "Display Address on Internet" was set to "No" when those listings were entered into Toronto MLS. The "Results" tab listing summaries and the detail reports will simply state "Private Address" with only the Municipality and Province displayed for those listings. On the "Results" tab, the listings can be sorted by either "List Price Increasing" or "List Price Decreasing". The two green arrows at the top right hand side of the tab can be used to move up and down through all the pages of listings that were returned by the search. Another handy feature available on the "Results" tab is the "Comparison Report". At the top right hand corner of each listing summary’s header is a check-box, with which a side-by-side feature comparison of listings can be enabled. After checking two or three listings, and then clicking on the "Compare Selected" link at the top left of the "Results" tab, or at the bottom of the "Results" tab, a new window will open with the "Comparison Report". Using the links in the pale blue header bar at the top of the "Details" tab, the listing reports can be stepped though one at a time ("First Previous Next Last"). Each "Report" tab also has a related "Photos" tab, for viewing the other photos associated with the listing. On the "Report" tab, there is a handy series of links in the space just above the listing report. The "Map Property" link will open the "Map" tab in a Bird’s Eye view. The property will be located in the centre of the screen with a house icon superimposed, pinpointing its location in this close up view. Road or Aerial views can then be selected from the mapping tools in order to increase the zoom range, if desired. When the listing happens to have a Virtual Tour associated with it, then a link to that tour will also appear in this space. Clicking on the "Virtual Tour" link will open a new window where the tour will be presented. As required, more searches can be conducted by clicking on the "Search" tab at the left, modifying the criteria, and then clicking the "Search" button at the bottom of the tab again. You can also reposition the map to see more listings that match the criteria that have been specified. Clicking on the "Clear" button will clear the existing criteria on the "Search" tab, and then run a Search that is based only on map location. The searching procedure can be repeated again and again, until properties of interest are found, at which point you can click on the "E-mail Realtor" link to request more information from me.
