The 16th Annual Heritage Village Day

The heart of old Richmond Hill will be transformed into a festive pedestrian mall where artisans and community groups will tempt you, inform you and transform you as you enjoy arts, crafts, children's activities, horse wagon rides and delectable tasty treats. Heritage Village Day is organized by Arts Richmond Hill.

Yonge Street Closure

Yonge Street will be closed between Crosby Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive for Heritage Village Day on Saturday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Barricades will be placed at the following locations:

  • Yonge Street & Major Mackenzie Drive
  • Arnold Crescent & Elizabeth Street N
  • Lorne Avenue & Church Street
  • Centre Street W & Elizabeth Street N
  • Centre Street E & Church Street
  • Richmond Street & Elizabeth Street N
  • Wright Street & Hall Street
  • Dunlop Street & the entrance to St. Mary’s
  • Bedford Park Avenue (60 m away from Yonge Street)
  • Yonge Street & Crosby Avenue

Temporary “No Parking” signs will be placed on both sides of the above noted side streets and along Yonge Street. The parking lot at Richmond Street, west of Yonge Street will also be posted “No Parking” by 5 p.m. on June 8 to 6 p.m. on June 9.
