Watt Reader Loan Program offered at The York Region Public Libraries

The Watt Reader lending program developed by PowerStream in conjunction with the Public Libraries in Aurora, Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan, offers a simple way for residents to get a “read” on the amount of electricity used by plug-in appliances throughout their home. Residents borrowing a Watt Reader will receive simple operating instructions for the easy-to-use unit and instructions for calculating the cost of using the appliance based on reading the device and the amount of time that it might be used each month.
